Just remember this… a first kiss is not just a kiss. It's actually a life altering experience.

Thanks to reader response last Friday, I wanted to share with you a few last "firsts" in the lip lock department from my interviews with Hollywood's elite.

Who says stars won't kiss and tell? These stories gave my Midlifer heart a little flutter and a few made me gasp.  (That means you, Leo!)

JANEANE GAROFALO:  "My first kiss was with Bobby O'Donnell at Green Village Elementary School in New Jersey. It was very racy. We kissed behind a bush after hours near the bike rack. It was also my first French kiss because Bobby was very advanced for 12. In the past, I had kisses on the cheek, but I'm not counting that as major. So we swapped spit and lips. Immediately, I went home and told my mother I French kissed a boy. Blurt! there it was because I was so guilty and ashamed. I was raised in a strict Irish Catholic home and my grandmother was always saying, 'Jeanane, if there is one thing that's important in life it's that you be modest. Be modest! For God's sake be modest.' Any sexuality of any kind was punishable in my house and I was so guilt ridden over this kiss that my stomach hurt

LEONARDO DICAPRIO: "It was the most disgusting thing in my whole life. The girl injected about a pound of saliva into my mouth, and when I walked away I had to spit it all out."

REESE WITHERSPOON: "I was in fifth grade and thought I was in love with a boy named Graham. So we kissed. Then he broke my heart and told everybody that I was flat-chested and that's why he didn't like me anymore."

DREW BARRYMORE: "It was very nice. It was his first kiss, too. We were with my girlfriend, but she wasn't involved with the kiss, of course - it wasn't anything kinky!... We played this card game with three rounds: round one was kisses with closed lips, round two was open mouth and round three was open mouth with tongues. It was so funny… It was so clinical in a way, but it was fun and it was sweet and it was safe. It was an innocent game. There wasn't anything dirty or strange about it. It's funny because when you're a kid you don't realize what you have - that innocence. By the way, I had my other girlfriend hide in the bushes and she had scorecards like in the Olympics. After we kissed, she held up a card that read 10.0."

CHARLIZE THERON: "He had braces. We were in the backyard. And you'd think I might not be a good kisser because of this first kiss. Anyway, it was in the backyard after we just had watched 'Friday the 13th.' What a real romance movie! So we were just standing there because it was so planned. Like okay, you're gonna come over, watch a movie, then we kiss…. His name was Nicky. We were standing in the backyard and I'm like, 'You wanna do it, you wanna do it?' He said, 'Well, okay, then let's do it.' And we're standing there arguing about it for so long, it was just awful. But then it was darkness, saliva and tongue… This actually happened yesterday. No, just kidding. I was 12. Or 13."
