"What do I know now that I didn't know in my 20s? Everything!"
"What I really know is that I can think about myself now. When you're younger you don't think that's possible. What else I know now is that I don't have to care what anybody else thinks about me. That's a tough one. You have to get there."
"Finally, I know that you can walk away. Sometimes my son who is four comes home and says someone is being mean to him at school. He will ask why they're being mean.
"My husband and I look at each other and one of us will say, 'You know what Jack? Why they're mean to you is none of your business. You just know that you don't want to be around them. You don't have to be around them. They're not your friend. You're not their friend.'
"It's just that simple. I want to teach him how to not let it bother him.
"Oh and one more thing. I know that life is about simplicity."
