When you like what you're wearing, that's fashion!

Designer Donatella Versace, in Harper's Bazaar said: "If you feel sensual, confident, and glamorous, chances are you are very much in vogue."

In other words, you don't need to go around chasing trends all the time to look chic.

Take, for example, Helen Mirren. She always looks fantastic. Not in a trying-to-be-young kind of way, but in a grown-up, super sexy kind of way.

Helen Mirren always wears the dress and not the other way around. At the Golden Globes this week, Helen Mirren chose a navy Badgley Mischka that looked amazing on her body.

And while some other older women appeared on the red carpet with frozen faces and enhanced bodies crammed in to trendy, barely there gowns, Helen Mirren outshone them all in a long-sleeve dress.

How? Helen Mirren has mastered dressing for her body (instead of just following trends.) She knows that she looks best with a bit of a daring neckline (in this case a plunging neckline) and something to accentuate her hourglass figure (a sparkly belt at the Golden Globes did the trick.)
