Andie MacDowell, 54, has gorgeous, young, shiny hair.

Silky hair is youthful hair – just look at the gorgeous hair Kate Middleton, age 30, sports and compare that to 54-year-old Andie MacDowell. They're almost identical! So, if you're wondering how to make hair shiny, wonder no more. Research In Beauty has introduced a new shine treatment - the five-syringe Keratin Gold Nano-Complex Rejuvenating System - to support reconstruction of your hair cuticles.

Eyal Uzana, president of Research In Beauty notes, "This special new salon treatment has been two years in the making. We always thought that most professional salon hair re-constructor treatments were not rebuilding the hair fibers enough. So, we created an innovative new treatment that really replenishes and regenerates the hair fibers with the same keratin that hair naturally comprises."

Studies have shown that most conditioning treatments on the market today only treat the outer cuticle layer, since it's the easiest to reach. It's the inner cortex that constitutes the major portion of fibers and keratin proteins, which give the hair much-needed stability and tensile strength.

Why Hair Loses Shine

Vice President of Research In Beauty, Massimo Quartararo, illustrates this idea, sharing; "When you look at a child's hair, you will notice how healthy and naturally shiny it is. This is because at a young age, the hair fibers are full of keratin and consequently amino acids. The amount of these proteins is heavily present, which makes the hair look vibrant, shiny, strong and healthy. As young adults get older, they tend to experiment with their looks through hair color and heating tools which may be very damaging."

Uzana adds, "When we use hair color and highlights on our salon clients, those chemicals further deplete the hair of the proteins and fibers they need to be shiny and healthy, much like when they were young. To effectively replenish and strengthen the hair, it is necessary to treat the inner cortex and to replace the lost proteins."

How to Make Hair Shiny

All of the Research In Beauty products have been formulated with the company's signature Nano-Complex, which is a mixture of patented molecular-sized keratin proteins, amino acids and "pure 24 Karat Liquid Gold."

"This unique Keratin Gold Nano-Complex Rejuvenating System carries all of these elements in addition to a natural enzyme that helps heal the shredded fibers of hair into the cortex and cuticle. For an average salon service fee of $35 to $50, the results instantaneously provide you with very healthy hair and brilliant new shine," adds Uzana.

Everyone can effectively use the Keratin Gold Nano-Complex Rejuvenating System syringes in the salon or as a professional homecare treatment program. Individuals with fine hair or hair that has been treated with hair color or highlights, as well as those with very dry hair, will benefit the most from this treatment. It can also be used at any time after hair straightening and re-texturizing treatments, as well as after other salon chemical hair services.

How to Use Keratin Gold Nano-Complex Rejuvenating System

If you buy the Rejuvenating System Reconstructor for home use, you only need to use one syringe per week for five  weeks, especially if your hair is seriously damaged. If the hair is not very damaged, you may be able to use the system once every other week. This reconstructor product is very concentrated, so only takes 3 mL diluted in hot water to be effective. The narrowed applicator that comes with the package of five syringes is used to dilute and mix the syringe treatment with hot water. Hot water is necessary to activate the ingredients and deeply penetrate it into the cortex of your hair.

After the application, let it penetrate your hair for 10 minutes and then blow dry your hair without rinsing it out. Quartararo adds, "It is like Botox for hair! After this regimen, the hair should be in a much better condition than before – there's nothing else like it on the market."
