You have to love Sofia Vergara who plays va-va-voom Gloria on "Modern Family." She has great style secrets for midlifers on the run during the busy holiday season.

"Women need adornments. A beautiful pair of earrings distracts from the wrinkles," says the actress.

Vergara has her own Kmart line these days that's affordable and goes right from the rack to your daily activities.

"For just $100 you can look like a million no matter your shape and size," Vergara says.

A few of the dresses are shorter, but that doesn't prevent midlifers from going above the knee.

"If you're shy about showing legs, wear really dark tights. I live in tights.  Wear dark shoes and the whole leg will look longer."

There are other great beauty and style secrets from our slightly younger friends:

*Gorgeous Halle Berry who stars in the upcoming "New Year's Eve" says that you have to tailor your workouts to one goal. "You want to keep your muscles long and lean. That's crucial as you get older." She prefers to run, bike and jumps on the elliptical machine.

*Beautiful Faith Hill says that there is one trick that never fails her – and it takes less than a minute. The country crooner insists, "If you're running out the house moisturize, curl your lashes and put on some neutral lipgloss. The curling of the lashes is crucial because it gives you that wide eyed look that will make it appear you didn't stay up all night because your daughter had the sniffles!"

*Amazing Vergara who stars as Gloria on "Modern Family" says that her looks are a bit upsetting to her son…..in certain instances. "My son hates when people think I'm his older sister!" she says.

As for diet and exercise, she insists,  "Everything in moderation. That includes eat right and exercise right. Not too much and not too little."

She always believes in going …all out. "I dress up to go to the supermarket. I think women want to feel cute and sexy…even when they're driving their kids to school or going to the dentist!"

Her style influences include her mother. "She wore mascara at six in the morning even if she was just going to go get some milk. She wouldn't leave the house without lipstick!"

I don't know about you, but if I'm getting calls from knuckleheads I can't identify on my cell phone, I'll occasionally do a reverse cell phone lookup to deal with such people. That's how I handle it!

Houses and cars are not cheap and not every person can buy it. Nevertheless, business loans are invented to aid different people in such kind of hard situations.
