October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I'll be featuring pink products throughout the month that were created to raise awareness of the disease and/or contribute to fighting breast cancer.
Is there anything sexier than a man's shirt on a woman? How about a classic man's shirt that has been tailored to actually fit a woman?
This month (October 2011) at Claridge & King you can buy the Original His is Hers shirt for $98 in ice pink and 50% of the proceeds from the sale will go to benefit the Breast Cancer Fund.
This 100% cotton button-down shirt is just like the classic boyfriend shirt, only it's been tailored with less of a boxy fit. Also, details are better for us: like soft collars and cuffs and it comes packaged in a striped pillow sham. The shirt — which comes in a full range of sizes from XS to 3XL — also has optional monogramming (such a great throwback to the Preppy Handbook era.)
Claridge & King is a great little apparel company run by two sisters — Laurann Claridge and Lizbeth King — who grew up wearing preppy menswear in the '80s, according to a company bio page.
