Want to get your body and skin summer ready? Read on!

If you are starting to feel the heat, it doesn't mean you have to worry about the summer season. You can get a better body in 7 days.

As women, there's a lot to concern ourselves with when it comes to the warm weather months: How will I look in my bathing suit? Do I have the right to bare arms? What will I do with those two things that I call my thighs?

As we move into summer 2012, most of us want to do a human self-improvement project for the season of sun and fun, but suddenly they're upon us and time seems to be running out.

What if you could have a better body in just seven days?

Dr. Andrew Ordon has a new book called "Better in 7."

Before he appears on "The Doctors" on Tuesday, May 15 to offer his better body secrets, I got a sneak peak at some of his best tips for how to achieve a better body in just seven days without going under the knife. Body Beautiful Summer Tips:

A BETTER BODY IN 7 DAYS:

*GOT BROWN SPOTS?

Even if you haven't been sitting out in the sun or live in a wintery place, most of us still have brown spots going into summer where you'll probably end up with more brown spots.

Dr. O'S 7-DAY SOLUTION: Mix a 1/2 cup of brown rice, a tablespoon of agave nectar, and a tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl. Spread the solution across the trouble area and gently scrub for 1-2 minutes then let it set for 10 minutes. The rice exfoliates, while the agave hydrates and the lemon juice lightens the skin pigment. With daily treatments, brown pigments may lighten after seven days.

FORGET THIGHS OF STEEL. GOT THIGHS OF MUSH?

Most of us might think it's time to hit the gym, which couldn't hurt. But if you've been taking Pilates and yoga galore and seeing little results, you might want to try another route.

Dr. O'S 7-DAY SOLUTION: New research suggests changing your diet may alter the estrogen effect. Try adding fiber-rich foods like brown rice, broccoli, raspberries, and high protein lean meats like chicken breast and salmon to your diet to replace processed foods. Coupled with exercise for the targeted thigh muscles, you may start to see better results in just seven days than with just exercise alone.

GOT FINE LINES AND WRINKLES?

Of course, you can rush to the dermatologist and get a little Botox or filler. Some of us rush to the department store and buy creams that can cost hundreds of dollars. Luckily, there's a simple Do It Yourself recipe:

Dr. O'S 7-DAY SOLUTION: Create a simple "anti-wrinkle mash" with every day items from the kitchen. Mash together skinless sweet potatoes, steamed carrots, a tablespoon of agave nectar, and a tablespoon of macha green tea powder, for a mixture loaded with antioxidants that fight the free radicals that cause aging. Spread the solution over the face and let it set for 10 minutes before washing away.

The good news about the skin concoctions is that you can lick them off and it will still be good for the diet. ;)
