WHAT DO YOU KNOW NOW THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW IN YOUR 20s and 30s?
JULIE ANDREWS, screen legend and author
"To be really honest with you, I've come to see at this age that I thought I knew a lot when I was younger, but I knew nothing in my 20s. I had a certain instinct for things at that age, which you should always trust. But I truly embrace aging. With every year that goes by, I learn a little more and seem to open my head and my heart a little more.
"These days, I sit back and think, 'Gosh, I know so much now, but there is still so much to learn.'
"I also celebrate getting older because there truly are no limits with age. Look at the Academy Awards. There was my lovely 'Sound of Music' costar Christopher Plummer who at 84 won a Best Actor Oscar. He was the oldest man to win the Academy Award. There he was looking handsome, wicked and delicious. He was so eleqoquent.
"Sixty truly is the new 40 while 70 is the new 50."
