WHAT DO YOU KNOW NOW THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW IN YOUR 20s and 30s?

MAX VON SYDOW, star of "Incredibly Loud and Incredibly Close" opening wide January 20 and screen legend whose credits include "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and "The Exorcist"

"I know a lot of things at this age. Particularly, you should think of all the silly, stupid things you've done in life and don't ever do them again!

"I also know that in life you should be open, be positive and be interested.

"You should also try to understand other people and communicate. It's very important. I'm an only child. I didn't have any brothers and sisters to love or hate. I didn't have anyone to fight with as a child.

"I think you have to learn how to communicate and understand other people. What I know at this age is you have to imagine what the other person's situation in life really is and why his behavior is so strange. There is always a reason why someone is that way. Maybe you can take a minute or two and figure it out.

"Finally, I know that in life you shouldn't worry about everything. Life is good."

"Wait one more thing…..use your imagination. Always. At any age. Use your imagination!"
