UMA THURMAN, actress and star of "Kill Bill" and Pulp Fiction."
"When I was younger, I was pretty shy. I didn't have much self-confidence. I wondered when my life would start. I guess the young years are reckless years. The big thing for me was that I had so many questions. I think those younger years are particularly lonely moments in life.
"Now, my life is so rich and full. I realize I don't have to do much to be happy. There aren't so many questions. I've learned that the perfect night is just hanging out at home with my kids.
"Age brings contentment. I'm not a gaping hole of need."
