JOHN CORBETT, star of TNT's new mystery film "Ricochet," guest star on "Parenthood" and Aidan Shaw on "Sex and the City."
"There are a couple of things I know now that I didn't know in my '20s. First, nobody cares what my opinion is. I know that now. When I was younger, I thought everybody needed to know my opinion and it's just not true.
"The second thing I know – and it sounds so trivial and cliché – is that nothing really matters in the big picture because we're here for such a short time. To argue about anything really doesn't make any sense at all.
"Of course, I still spend way too much time fighting for something if I believe in it, but then I remind myself, 'It doesn't really matter in the big picture.' So, I'm trying to do that less and less….and just enjoy life."
