WHAT DO YOU KNOW NOW THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW IN YOUR '20s AND '30s?

KIM CATTRALL, "Sex and the City's" Samantha Jones and Legend:

"What I know now that I didn't know at 20 is that you have to work on your attitude. For example, your body will change in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. You find new challenges at each age – and you have two choices. You can moan about it or you can embrace it. The choice is entirely up to one person: You.

"I've also learned that it truly is a youth worshipping society. That's a given. But why march to the beat of someone else's drum?  So what if society worships one thing. I've learned that I have my own drum and I can beat it proudly and march to it. I find my own pace during that march. I'm the only one who can define what I want. It's my song.

"Most of all, I've learned that I'm in charge of making myself happy.

"I also know now that there are many ways to look at yourself in the mirror as you age. I look at myself through kind eyes. I deserve that view."
