With all the running around doing holiday shopping, getting yourself an outfit might fall to last on the list.
Then, if you do find the time, you have to go from site to site or page to page or place to place to put the whole thing together. Used to be fun, right? Not anymore.
While doing some window shopping for women online clothing stores, I stumbled across a brilliant idea — the curated outfit.
It's like seeing an outfit in the widow of a store and being able to get the whole thing together without having to got from floor to floor — sweater department to shoe department to jewelry and so on — you get the idea.
Wallis had the whole outfit above not only all one page, but all in one place: pretty holiday sweater that will go with lots of things throughout the season, a gorgeous metallic leather skirt, bangle, booties, denier tights and a bag in a swanky animal print — all perfectly coordinated and only a little over $200. For 6 pieces!
And it's a great look for almost any midlife woman. I added the gold loop-like earrings just because I love them, and they are a perfect fit for the outfit — plus they're only $5! But no doubt you have a pair of gold earrings already in your repertoire — who doesn't? (Me, that's why I want them)
I suppose it's lucky that every element in this ensemble is a winner — which is why I think the concept of one-stop shopping is just genius. Anything to save time and look stylish, too.
What do you think? Do you like the idea of getting an outfit all in one go?
