Some fashionistas are calling it all the 50 Shades of Grey effect. But fashion has always had a fascination with fetish.
From fashion photographers like Helmut Newton who favored a highly erotic style of shooting fashion to recent runway collections featuring bondage details from the likes of Jason Wu and BCBG.
We've kind of eased into this current sexy trend, starting with the proliferation of looks like leather dresses which have given way to more hardcore details (straps, studs, spikes, etc.)
And while it's mostly the youngsters who are sporting these looks, one wonders if it won't be long until we see a midlifer trying to pull off a leather-and-chain bound outfit.
