I might be in heaven.

Truthfully, I always hated the idea of cruises. I thought they were the lazy man's vacation. I thought they were for old people. I just didn't get it.

She'll turn 50 later this year, but it looks like Felicity Huffman is actually turning back the clock.

Don't believe me? Just check out her "Before" pic from 2006, then look at a recent photo from 2012. If that's not getting better with age, then I don't know what is.

So, what's the big difference in Felicity over the past 6 years? For starters, her face looks smoother. And she looks prettier without that orange fake tan.

Break This Fashion Rule: Horizontal Stripes

I love stripes. And while it is commonly accepted fashion knowledge that only vertical stripes are flattering, I've always liked to break this fashion rule with horizontal stripes.

Take the classic navy and white stripe tee: in a horizontal stripe it's iconic, but in a vertical it looks pretty silly.

The reason horizontal stripes make you look larger is that they supposedly make the eye travel side to side, giving you more visual heft.

Eva Mendes is the kind of woman who elicits sighs from cab drivers.

We're doing this interview during the few free moments she has these days. She's backstage at "Ellen" waiting to make her appearance. I'm in a cab going from LAX to an interview with Will Smith.

"Is that really Eva Mendes on the phone," cries my cab driver, a 50 year old whose jaw has dropped all the way to the gas pedal. For a second, I think we're going to get into a fender bender.

"She's so smoking hot. Even her voice is smoking hot!" cries my driver.

Today marks the opening of Dark Shadows… the movie, that is. The Tim Burton movie, that is, starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfieffer, and Burton's wife, Helena Bonham-Carter.

And I'm afraid. I'm very afraid. But not for reasons you may suppose.

Because long before there was Twilight or True Blood or any of these modern-day, rule-breaking weenie vampires, there was Dark Shadows – a late 1960s gothic soap opera.

I loved this show. No, I loooooooved this show.
