I debated about posting Christie Brinkley's photo as the Look of the Day.
On the one hand, she looks absolutely amazing. On the other hand, she looks better than most 20-year-olds, so as an example of over-50 beauty she's a little intimidating.
The dress she chose — a navy blue fitted dress with cutout and twist details — highlights her superfit body. She accessorized with a cute leopard-print clutch and black pumps. What's surprising is that she's wearing sheer black pantyhose ( I think pantyhose are poised to make a big comeback.)
But it's the hair that really makes the look. It's super long, blonde, and as lush and shiny and full as a 16-year-old's hair. Absolutely stunning.
Usually I'm not a big fan of older women having hairsprayed curls (can look dated and make you look older) but it works for Christie because of the length.
She also breaks a big rule for over 50 by wearing bright red lipstick and looks glam (it helps that it's shiny, not matte.)
