"Come on along! We're all meeting in Las Vegas!" said Diana Lewis Jewell, author of Going Gray Looking Great — the bible for gray-maned beauties.
Jewell, who gave Style Goes Strong the Top 10 Ways to Make Gray Great, has a website to accompany the book which has grown into an ever-more-popular online community. Women post pictures of their newly grayed hair and the stories of how they made the transition.
Then, little local meet-up groups started to spring up across the country and around the world from Boston, Massachusetts to Cape Town, South Africa. And these groups started to goad Jewell to go national.
"But no one could decide when or where." So she finally had to make an "executive" decision and chose Las Vegas, October 1–3, 2010.
I love Las Vegas; I think it's a hoot," says Jewell. "It's like a Fellini movie. You have to take it in that vein; if you took it seriously, you wouldn't enjoy it at all."
Vegas is also known as the Capital of Second Chances, which seems appropriate for this new incarnation of your hair and your overall look. So if you'd like to meet other Silver Sisters, book now to get the deal at the Palazzo — an all-suite hotel (700 square feet, sister!),
and you'll meet makeup artist/model Cindy Joseph "who'll be there with her BOOMsticks," says Diana. As well as Jill Kirsh, aka the Hollywood Guru of Hue, who believes not in the "color by season, but that it all starts with the hair color.
So obviously for a group who've recently changed their whole look, her viewpoint will be invaluable.

In this case 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' is not likely to be true because at the 3 p.m. (PST) radio interview on October 3rd, anyone who can't be there in person, can pipe in via the chatroom
Personally, I know it's not Tinsel Town, but it is glitzy, so I think they should all wear hair tinsel to celebrate!
