1. Belt a Jacket, Cardigan or Coat

The quickest and easiest way to change the look of an outfit is to change up the silhouette; try this by belting something you might not usually belt like a jacket, coat or cardigan. Here, Suze Orman puts a wide belt on a jacket to give the entire look more shape. She keeps the flattering aspect of the look by going monochromatic; if you want to show off a small waist, choose a contrasting color. Don't be afraid to replace things like self-belts (in the same material as the garment) with a leather belt. And experiment with adding dressy belts to casual looks and vice versa.
