Mariska Hargitay: Beauty Tips

Onscreen (below), Mariska Hargitay gets a makeup touch-up on the streets of New York -- and she tends to keep to a nude makeup palette off-screen as well -- she always has strong, well-defined eye brows and keeps to peachy tones on lips and cheeks, with a soft silver or gray for eyelids to make her dark brown eyes pop.

This silver shimmery dress (seen here in whole kickin' it up in a great pair of heels with co-star Christopher Meloni) stays within her off-screen style parameters -- simple lines with a bit of ruching around the waist (see last slide) and big earrings in lieu of other jewelry.
