The red carpet takes a cue from current fashion trends and colors go bright. As in neon pink (like Gina Goodwin is wearing) or gorgeous bright blue (like Busy Phillips is wearing.) It's a great way for an actress to really stand out in a sea of white or black, so expect so significant pops of color during some of the awards show during the 2012 season.
