5 Styles You Won't Believe Are Back

1. Gauchos

At Marc Jacobs, gauchos were done in (gasp!) polka dots. In the hands of Diane Von Furstenberg's designer Yvan Mispelaere, wool gauchos were done up in jewel tones and paired with a fur chubby (and hose with open-toed sandals.)

In theory , gauchos are a great idea because they pair the ease of pants with the dressiness of skirts. In reality, they add volume right where most women don't need it (at the hips) and end at an unflattering length that usually visually cuts the leg in half.
