Solid colors in general were a big trend at this year's Emmys, with a few examples in each hue — all green, all purple, all blue — but red was very prevalent, in Glee's Leah Michelle, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, and here on winner (for Mildred Pierce) Kate Winslet with Evan Rachel Wood in black who plays her daughter — but where is the jewelry! All very bare this year. Kerry Washington glams it up a bit with some beading and a sheer skirt at least.
