Most of the best hairstyles at the Golden Globes were on midlifers -- here are a few tips on how to get Lucy Lui's fishtail braid, Julianne Moore's French twist, Nicole Kidman's soft bob and more.
Julianne Moore's '60s inspired up-do was one of the most popular hairstyles at the Golden Globes. Here's how she got it: Living Proof celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan said, “I applied Living Proof Prime Style Extender [for] the sleek, smooth, healthy hair I needed for styling [and] applied No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray to the crown to keep the hair looking smooth. I dried the hair straight with a large round brush. I created a deep side-swept bang, then pulled the hair back into a classic French twist with an uneven seam. Everything else about the look was so perfect and sleek that I wanted the seam to be a little deconstructed. Finally, I secured the look and added Firm Hold hairspray to keep the hair in place." It also looks like there's filler in the "bun" to keep the terrific lifted shape.
