1. Do wear dark denim for a dressier look.

One of the easiest ways to have a youthful, updated look that's a little dressier is to wear dark wash (or "rinse") jeans like Alex McCord. These darker jeans have a deep, rich saturated color that works perfectly for girls' night on the town, movies with the hubby or any time you want to look pulled together (they are dressy enough for a casual office environment, too.)
