Real Housewives of New York Fashion Evolution

Season 4 of The Real Housewives of New York started April 7 on Bravo, and all of our favorite girls (sadly minus Bethenny Frankel who got a hubby, baby and her own show) are back. Remember when we first met our fabulous NY ladies? Ramona was wearing tiny minis, Jill was nowhere near the sleek sexpot she is today and The Countess was still dressing like a lady who lunches. Even glamourpuss Sonja Morgan has upped the "wow" in her wardrobe. See how far they have come, stylewise.

Alex McCord and Simon: From Showy to Sophisticated

About Alex McCord: Along with matchy-matchy husband Simon van Kempen, 37-year-old Alex McCord introduced her Brooklyn-dwelling family of four to the world. Her quote: "To a certain group of people in New York, status is everything."

How Alex McCord's style has evolved: Actually, it's her show-off husband Simon who has toned down his flamboyant ways the most. In eariler pics they dressed in garish looks, but seem to have left that attention-grabbing tactic behind over the past few seasons. Alex McCord has a tall, thin body so she can wear everything from long, dramatic looks to bold colors and prints. While she's a Fashion Week regular, she doesn't have a real signature look.
