Remember what I said about not knowing who'll tturn up as VP? ...Ron Paul's wife, Carol Wells, 76, looks like a cuddly grand- mother. Iindeed she has 18 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, via her 4 kids. In fact, she was a Girl Scout troop leader. Between Ron Paul's "ill-fitting suits with a gap at the collar and lapels that don't quite lay flat," the couple, who just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Feb. 1, have "no slickness or the polish of politicians," says Dr. Baumgartner. Verdict? "Real Housewives of Mayberry RFD."
