Who needs Real Housewives of DC in an election year (it's been cancelled anyway). For Presidents' Day, we look to the wives of the presidential candidates on the national stage and try to decipher their fashion messages.
Mrs. Jon Huntsman, 51, is one of the wives described as actually liking the idea of being First Lady (the others' ambivalence has been noted). Even thought her husband has sidelined the presidential race, you never know who might turn up as a VP candidate. She wears bright colors, and bold prints — she has fun with fashion, Dr. Baumgartner points out. "She's not afraid to use clothing to enhance her femininity," she adds. In her Florida to first lady of Utah trajectory, you can still see the Florida, Dr. B says, describing Mary Kaye's style, as "Tory Burch meets '80s Palm Beach." Plus, falling for Jon Huntsman who was a high school dropout, rock-n-rolling motorcycle rider at one point indicates she likes the 'bad boy', suggesting a bit of a wild streak. That and her tan, coral lipsticks, and body-conscious fashion sense might land her in the Real Housewives of LA, although her 7 kids and philanthropic initiatives don't quite mesh with those women.
