Dressing Up / Dressing Down

Designer Vera Wang, decidedly dressed down in Rhinebeck earlier in the day in a camouflage gray short-sleeved sweatshirt, crafted the creamy organza strapless confection worn by Chelsea.

Best feature: the wide waist band of sparkling beads, like filigree, that added a subtle touch of glamour. A great way to define the waist even if you're not as slim as the bride.

The 61-year-old designer, who also outfitted the bridesmaids, reportedly said "it was a "privilege" to dress Clinton. And apparently fashioned a second gown for the reception — Grecian-style with a black grosgrain belt.
