What the Stars Say about Plastic Surgery

They've had it, they haven't had it, they're thinking of having it, they had it in the past but aren't going to do it anymore... when it comes down to it, the stars are just as conflicted about having plastic surgery as you may be.

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren, here smiling about her new film Die Tuer, has weighed in on the plastic surgery question. She falls into the 'Live and let live/I'd do it too' camp. Us Magazine has quoted her saying:

You go, 'I don't want to look at that face anymore,' and I understand that, absolutely," the actress told British morning show GMTV.

The 64-year-old star added, "I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want to make themselves feel happy." ...she admits she often thinks about going under the knife and insists she would have had procedures done "years ago" if she wasn't in the public eye. She said: "I'd think about it even more if I was in a different profession. If I wasn't on camera I would have had it done years ago."

AZ Central noted her quip:

It's the full-on for me. Suck it all up, tie it up and then cut it all off!"
