Ancient Greek goddesses aside, it's often celebrities that we look to for beauty cues and clues. Herewith, a nascent exploration of some of the women who inspire us with their particular beauty stamp.
Another reason for this article was a beauty teleseminar I attended in late August, where we were all discussing what beauty really was to us. Which is when I brought up the question of the beauty muse. And it gave the women pause. A lot of names got bandied about but several kept coming up.
